The Tennyson Center for Children at Colorado Christian Home, located in Denver at 29th Avenue and Tennyson Street, is one of the largest residential treatment and education facilities in the Rocky Mountain Region for children ages five to eighteen that have experienced crisis including severe abuse, neglect, or emotional trauma. In 2005, the Tennyson Center was put up for auction. To prevent this community asset from being lost, the Urban Land Conservancy acquired and signed a long-term lease with the Tennyson Center to ensure its continued benefit to the community.
