New Legacy Charter School takes a unique approach to education by offering pregnant or parenting teens the opportunity to receive a tuition free high school education. The students’ children can also attend the adjacent early education center, allowing parents to visit with their children throughout the day.

New Legacy Charter School held a cooking class for their students last week. Katrina Brink from Kitchen on the Green spent the day teaching the students how to prepare a traditional Indian Feast, and how to make nutritious decisions.
