Andrea Burns

Vice President of Impact and Engagement

Andrea is responsible for telling ULC’s story, connecting with local communities, and analyzing and amplifying ULC’s impact.

Andrea’s background is in communications, marketing, and community outreach. She has extensive experience in city-planning, real-estate-development, and nonprofit settings. Her past roles include director of communications for Denver Community Planning and Development and chief marketing officer for the National Western Center. Andrea ran a consultancy, AB Communications, and in 2023 she served as interim CEO for Historic Denver, the preservation-advocacy nonprofit.

Andrea has a bachelor’s in journalism from Northwestern University, and an MBA from CU Denver with a focus in marketing and sustainability. 

Away from the desk, she can be found riding shotgun in a 4WD campervan, en route to a weekend of mountain biking.
