John Bissell

Director of Facilities

John manages ULC’s facilities and is responsible for making decisions that impact the mechanical and functional performance of ULC’s property assets. He works closely with ULC property managers, facilities staff, and vendors to ensure their overall success in building maintenance. He is the lead on vendor contract negotiations, capital improvement projects, and overall guidance of property maintenance.

John started his career in an engineering battalion of the U.S. Army as a draftsman, working on civil engineering projects for both the military and civic action projects. He has been in the building management industry for more than 30 years, mostly in multi-family property management. His experience spans all aspects of capital improvement planning and execution.

John enjoys camping in the Colorado mountains, traveling with his wife of 15 years and doing DIY projects at home.
