Yamilex (Yammy) Avitia

Yammy oversees the daily cash operations of ULC. She specializes in cash management and treasury, tracking cash flow, major cash forecasting, payment processing and exceptions, wire initiation, weekly cash reconciliation, check runs, credit card management, and more. 

In her career, Yammy has led accounts payable and receivable teams at real-estate and building-manufacturing companies. Before her accounting career, Yammy worked at a women-led, women-run nonprofit that worked primarily with low-income populations. She holds a bachelor’s of science from Colorado State University Global and graduated summa cum laude.

A Colorado native, Yammy enjoys the outdoors, taking her corgis Bean and Chula on walks, and exploring new hiking trails in the mountains. She also enjoys watching Marvel movies with her husband, visiting adventure parks and camping with family.
