ColfaxLab for Social Good

The large, former bank building serves as a community-serving space for nonprofits, including a nonprofit lender that provides low-interest loans and technical assistance to local entrepreneurs. ULC purchased the former Citywide Banks building in late 2021. The three-story, 24,000-square-foot office building sits on 1.77 acres of developed land and improvements, including 120 surface parking spaces and a 1,500-square-foot bank drive-thru structure. In collaboration with the Fax Partnership, ULC convened a community steering committee to guide the redevelopment process for future affordable housing at this site.
