About

Meade Street Gardens

ULC is collaborating with local nonprofit Re:Vision to bring affordable homeownership to Re:Vision’s RISE Westwood campus, where Re:Vision develops resident leaders, cultivates community food systems, and has catalyzed access to organic, nutritious produce. RISE Westwood is home to several Latino-owned small businesses and other nonprofits. The new housing development will join Re:Vision’s community center, artisan retail space, culinary space, and urban farm to form Meade Street Gardens, a place where residents will find opportunities to thrive in food, health, and economic abundance for generations to come. ULC holds the RISE Westwood campus in its community land trust, ensuring affordability and community-serving uses for 99 years or more.
